She looks beautiful and credit to the quality of workmanship that has gone it to her.
Credit to you as well for taking the restoration to this level. You may be a loony, but a good one.

Re: Tipo 33 replica @ Goodwood

Well I think it looks nice in the photos.
If I wanted to be super critical I think the engine could have benefitted from i bit more attention to dressing to look more period, but still a nice build. Interior looks as good as the outside. Nice.

Colin, I am so sorry to hear your devastating news. I did not know your wife and it must be a very tough time for you.
You know that it is the right decision to continue with the project in honour of Mandy.
All the best.

Totally agree with Lou on that one. Like i said , not sure of your background Dave but structural repairs could be made relatively easily if cosmetics are not too important. flat steel sheet and a basic box section.

Re: Rust

Well to be honest they tie the strut top mounts to the windscreen base and bulkhead as they are a box section. The front bit is more to support the wing but it all adds strength. Can you do any fabricating yourself or do you know someone who could make something?

Re: Rust

Sorry to see that Dave, and to add to what Lou says, it is repairable but detailed work. If you remove the wings you will get more of an idea how big the job is and how far you need to go.
Good luck.

Nice one Colin, I had seen this advertised.
SA spec , am i correct in saying a cloverleaf in a four door shell as South Africa only produced the four door shell?
Good to hear you are in good health now.

Another great collection of cars Lauren. You do find some hidden gems. Liking the Rover P6 in grey tbh, good to see a R5 turbo 2 and the Greyhound looks rather smart. Nice selection of American muscle as well. Thanks for taking the time to share. Just watched the exit video as well and the Green Mac...

Re: Ant Anstead - Master... Bodger?

Couldn't agree more John. They are very misleading for the generally public. Hourly rates on classic cars are not pro rata to the age of the car in question. What you said about the car going back to the vendor after the auction sounds dodgy. Shame as it could be a nice car if it was in the hands of...

Does everything himself, and tells you. Wants to save money then spends £200 on ice blasting. What would be wrong with some Ji...
