However, we can only post car related stuff here, so no pottery or cup cake recipes please

I'll go first


Yesterday I was working on my S3 Sprint for a change !
Fitted the ignition and calbes, steering column and steering wheel, pedals and pins, secured the dashboard in place, and I was trying to figure out what to do with the radiator.

Then, I got excited and I stepped outside to work on my 75TS which had no dashboard or wiring.
However, I've got no pictures of that, so I'll just post pictures of my Sprint's work and some bacon instead of the 75 ...

And yesterday I was working on a citroen ds21

Managed to start the engine last month, and last night I managed to get the suspension lifting and lowering as it should

So... YESTERDAY, I was working on rebuilding a pair of SOLEX carbs for a Spider S2 :p

I can post a picture of them later, but I think you've all seen carbs before

yes chris, whole front end off to do the cambelt.

that's bumper skin, headlamps, A/C rad, water rad, powers steering cooler, front panel etc etc

just to do the ruddy cambelt

also right on it being from the "best" car makers, german.

an audi A4 2.0 tdi

at least once everything was off access wasn't an issue

Well, yesterday I started working on the S2 33 I got last week...

First thing's first, I swapped the ugly metal wheels with the alloy ones of the convertible one and blew some air into the tyres.
Overall condition of the car seems to be in good shape, but the rear wheels are pointing at the wrong direction :/
I hope its just the rear hubs or even the complete rear axle for that matter, instead of being something bent on the chassis underneath...


Next step will be to replace the fuel tank and some fuel hoses, put some petrol in it, and see if I can save this engine.
Been told by previous owner that this engine has no compression, but still.... I got to see for myself

Bit late now but you don't have to remove front panel and rads you get two long m8 bolts and put them in were the bumper bar bolts and slide it all forward same for Vw passats and most audis I've done to many to remember

did see that but couldn't see why you'd want to leave the front panel there after taking everything off and still struggling with access.
for a little more effort the belt change was a doddle, time saved that way.

Agree to some degree but it can take just as long to get air out of cooling system and regas air con than doing whole job

fair point, was doing water pump too so draining/filling the cooling system was gonna happen anyway.
