This is all good!

I am simply writing what John would never shout about himself, but i think deserves a mass of respect and admiration for.
Many only know John as the Just Sud's parts man. A dedicated fan of the brand and occasional campaigner on track days of his former race sud, current 33, and hopefully the long awaited supercharged sprint he's owned for years too. But less know that this is very much a second business for John, which is understandable because as a business plan, Alfasud parts is not likely to ruffle Sir Alan's feathers for sure, and John is actually a fabricator and builder of bespoke and specialist transporters and trailers.
But, did any of you also know that he partners friend and fellow loon Adam Pope in Classic Sidecar Racing?

Well i had the great fortune, along with the Miss's, Jixxer, and the Man Flu suffering Kev to see an incredible race meeting of classic and vintage solo motorcycles and sidecar outfits at Cadwell Park this weekend, and witness some of the most interesting, brave and adventurous racing i've ever seen, it was fantastic!
Adam and John were competing in two sidecar class's, which were the Pre 1959's with a Triumph 650 Thunderbird based outfit, and a later series, campaigning the only Italian machine of a Moto Guzzi 750 Le Mans based outfit.
Both appear suitably prepared to pretty basic rudimentary guidelines. There's no monstrous tyre widths, eye watering brakes and bank breaking suspension and chassis upgrades here, more hardtail versions of the original solo bike layout and a fixed sidecar platform, although there is tuning allowed just to make it even hairier!

Theres certainly NOTHING in the way of luxury or extra for either rider or passenger (i don't like that word at all

Heres a quick shot of them on the 29 numbered triumph i found from earlier this year at Darley Dale i believe
Now Adam and John have been beavering away at their championships all year, to the point where mathematically they were in very good shape in the later series, almost one hand on the trophy, and not in bad shape but needing lady luck on side for the pre 59 series too, but amazingly, to top off a great weekends racing, they came away with enough success yet again, and lady luck smiling upon them in the pre 59's, that they have scooped both Championships outright this weekend, along with other recognition's such as best sidecar performance etc

Well done John, and Adam, and thank you for a brilliant race meeting.
Please Please Please keep us updated a little more in the Race Section.
You're one of our original and founding members, very very important to the Alfa scene, and racing in a series that i know will interest many many of us, so don't be shy, lets hear all about it!

Thanks again, and Bloody well done!
