but they are bloody vicious when they snag on an edge, tests your reactions!


they do a great job, but will put a steel wire through your eyeball in no time too,

caution and care, but results are fantastic

I once had a piece of wire go through my cheek. So I only now use a wire wheel if their is no alternative and make sure I keep it angled away from my face.

I've had plenty of wire stands hit me in different areas they only start to fall to bits when they are nearly worn out but you carry on using them untill they are bald . The other thing I can't stand is all the half moon bits the air nibbler chucks out they end up in your socks or you kneal on them

Engine bay and front end finally all repaired and bare metalled it did drag on kept finding holes and rewelded all old repairs and seems

They end up imbedded in the soles of your shoes, then you walk in the house and scratch the laminate floor.

Which then ends up with the missus having a go and you having to replace the whole floor

All front end repaired and on to etch primer

Hadn't actually put any etch at this stage black bits are rust convertor and grey is a type of filler you spray on it sort of self levels and goes of rock hard

Etch primer good - acid etch primer better
Painted my bits with rust "converter" then acid etch, My Father always said don't rub back to the rust converter as once the seal was broken the rust will still come thorough

I've had a slight problem with the rust convertor as it still seems to be active as little raised spots like micro blister have appeared under the paint in the engine bay and also on the suspension parts I've painted not a big problem as most is hided but don't want this to happen on top coat when car is finished

Are you sure it's not water in your airline ? Do you have dryers or water oil catchers inline on your air ? That's what it sounds like to me

No it's not water as it was sprayed in a oven and the hand painted rear axle has done the same it only does it on original metal all new metal is fine

All bare metal so must be rust convertor as is was going lumpy / like there was grit in it before it was painted I just denibed it before it was painted

Floors all cleaned up and primed then applied upol raptor its like stone chip but is a 2k product for pickup truck floors it stays flexible but it also rock hard and very durable and over paintable I also used this on inner wings and inside wings before painting them red

All acid etched then inner wings raptor, it can't be over painted for 6 weeks no rush loads to do and it needs to go in The oven for engine bay to be painted so need to wait for body shop to be quiet so I can take over oven . While I waited I painted all the front suspenion and cleaned up engine
