Wheels and other bits...

Post by its_welshy »

Hey guys,

Looking for some 15" Sud wheels, preferably Azev's, a momo steering wheel and/ or boss...

Also, I'm ordering some Tarox brakes, and does anyone know if I can use rear breaks that are meant for ABS equipped cars, on mine (no abs)? there doesn't seem to be an option for non abs rear discs

I have an Alfa 33 rear axle with discs on it in my shed - it isn't fitted to my Sud, it has non standard calipers and it was originally from a P4 - I can post photos if needed.

Thanks,

Adam

The alfa 33 rear axle and calipers sounds interesting, how much would you be looking for them ??
I'm still collecting parts for my s3 sud ti restoration, would like to upgrade by modifying to rear calipers with my 15" alloys

Yes all p4's were rear disc brake. But is that what justin has, or a modified axle of other origin?

David, has your sud git a 33/sprint axle with drum brakes fitted?

Would it not be simpler to return to the sud axle for disc brake, or is the rear handbrake the issue?

Hey Shrew,

Been a while since I bought those fast road cams from you.

I believe my s3 sud ti has the standard rear discs but I wanted to fit calipers with rear handbrake capability.
Been thinking of fitting vw golf stubb axles with vw carriers, discs and calipers........ alot of effort just to have a rear handbrake

ps didn't mean to jump in on somebody elses deal
