Out of your comfort zone or not spot on mate. Hidden tweek is primary drive with duplex chain changed to ally pulleys and belt a weight saving of nearly 3kg slightly altering the gearing making 4th gear like o/drive-hence higher top speed. Nobody noticed the oil tank transfer has been put on upside down.

Does a bit but when on centre stand it still creeps down a slope on tick-over.

Slighty left field in terms of the picture, it seems I drew this over 30 years ago (cant remember doing it), and its just been found in my dads loft.

Make is easy, but written above the sketch is the exact model, year and cc.....so over to Shrew to answer in 5 mins as usual.

Great drawing, sort of thing i did as a youngun too to kill an hour or so.

If like my doodles, they werent necessarily 100 percent accurate, I'll allow for a few rogue proportions and details, so ill start with a guess of a T120 Bonnie?

I'd say 500, T100ss or T100R, kick start and gear lever are too close together, much wider apart on the 650's.

On the right track Shrew,
She is a bit of a mystery car with an interesting past.
Personally I liked her with full bumpers, but I do as I am told and I removed and cut them down and changed her from very dark blue with maroon to her current red and silver. She also looked nice in two tone red !!
I have known of her for quite a few years now. Love it

Alfa 6C 1750 as a base car and re-bodied after the war?

Umberto De Mola bodied Alfa.
Like you say, re-bodied 6c 1750 s/c chassis but over the years got butchered a lot.
Originally had covered front wheels as well as the rear (like a Delahey) and pop up lights (bit like a 1930's Chord ).
Current owner has had it for around twenty years. I first saw it at Silverstone early '90's in the dark blue with burgundy highlights.

Coys sounds familiar Ted. It came to us for a bit of paintwork with the engine already out, but I think from memory it still runs the 6c 2500 engine.
She lives in the south of France.

Some of the bodywork is sitting on the top-didn't want to make it too easy. Can Shrew name wheels from just seeing the inside?

Caterham 7 HPC with Ford/Cosworth BDR and flared/clamshell front wings? I can see bits of gold paint on the cam cover so it was most likely a 1.7 - the 1.6 had a blue cam cover. The wheels look relatively narrow and I can see a Goodyear NCT2 on the rear which suggests 14" diameter. I'd guess at 14" Superlites though these were rare from the factory so I'll say the KN Minators?

I worked at Caterham for 10 years (1989 to 1999) - the car in the photo may be a circa 1990 car?

My first and last impression simply left me to consider the tyre sizes and the very shallow profile of the inner rim edge.

Not sure i'd have come up with the KN Minators anyhow! Ha ha!

Bryan is spot on,thought the wings might have been a bit tricky (sod it). The wheels I got you on but that was nearly impossible - 5 spoke Revs. Kudos Bryan.
