Cambelt Kit for 33 16V

Post by its_welshy »

Howdy Folks,

Hope you're all well

I remember seeing a brilliant link for 33 parts on AlfaOwner and forgot to bookmark it... Does anyone know where I can purchase a cam belt kit for a 33 16v?

Thanks

Justin

hi justin

most decent motor factors still do them, but will probably require registration number to identify the components, as car knowledge and cross referencing are sadly a thing of the past in these places nowadays.

John at justsuds will be able to assemble you a kit no problem, i'm sure he will have a regular source of these parts if not a complete one piece kit in a box type thing.

other than that, you can try Rock auto, but you have to pretend the car is a 145 with the 16v boxer engine in, as they only list as far as 8v 1.7's under 33's.

hope that helps mate

Thanks Shrew, I ordered that...

Would you be so kind as to put the link for the gasket set for a 1.7 16 too? I'm not being lazy, I've just had my fingers burnt being clueless once to many times!

If its a full gasket set you need justin, rock auto list this one

PAYEN Part # GT340

It doesnt explain it too well so might be worth checking it has what you need first.

BGA also list hk6514 as a head set, but at the price i suspect it Could be a fair bit more than that.

Sorry it's not conclusive justin, but assuming your 16v Engine code is 30746, any decent motor factor should be able to soure one too.

Happy shopping buddy

I presume you're rolling your eyes at the obvious phone autocorrect in the thread title.

I'll edit it so it causes you no further offence.
