Classic Alfa Track Day at Goodwood

Post by Spacenut »

I managed to get down for this event by managing the coolant temperature with the radiator fan override switch (its a long story). The rain stayed away long enough to catch a few snaps...

I made it on to the grid for the parade lap...

911T interloper - still, I shouldn't grumble, they did let me join the fun too!

Fabulous Giulietta SV is a recent restoration - ex-US competition car.

One for our Kev - it's a 1950 Lancia Ardea panel van. The design dates back to 1939 and uses mainly Aprilia parts, including the V4 engine. Fabulous!

There are 2 South African GTV6 homologation cars in this view, brought over by their owners. A third South African native thought my car was an Eagle, which is what the Nova is called down there. He only seemed mildly impressed when I showed him my engine installation :?

Lots of rain about, so we only had one lap of the track before the track action started again, but it was fun nonetheless.
