No. 4 is honourable Mitsubishi Starion.

No. 2 is Ford Consul Classic/Ford Classic Capri.

As for No. 5, must be a very odd gearbox interface - FWD perhaps, like a Citroen Light 15/Traction Avant?

You can see the Japanese influence in the build quality.
They should have been a good car.

Toyota Starlet for me, the rear wheel drive one.
Started in a 1.0 then they changed it to a 1.3 5speed. Nice to drive in, then it got smashed up just before my test and I had to use a nasty F#*D Fiesta diesel. :x

I used to love the way Japanese cars aped the styling of American muscle cars - the Datsun 120Y, TA22 Toyota Celica, second generation Honda Civic even (front grille looks just like a 1970 Dodge Challenger). Unfortunately I grew up around BL and Fords, never got to experience the pleasures of the Orient :(

My mate had a Mitsy Colt Gallant, and it was even called a GTO. :D He also had the similar shaped Celica with twin lights. Lovely styled cars.

Looks like the Xtrac 4WD gearbox as used in a lot of super 2000 rally cars like the proton satria. sequential, lovely bit of kit ;)
