1st series TI licence "NUM 56P" still available?

Post by Alfa_Japan »

Hello Gents,

Is the red coloured 1st series TI with licence plate NUM 56P still available? This car was featured in the 1988 episode of the Top Gear where the Alfasud was elected as "car of the seventies". Would be fun if this "famous" car would still be on the road or in restoration.

Herewith a link to the YouTube entry for this episode of Top Gear;

That's a quick response. Known car so it seems, for me as a non islander it was reasonable question to ask ;-) Good to hear it's still up and running.

Last time I saw it, a year or two back,

sorry, didn't mean to sound harsh.
it is a reasonable enough question ;)

it is still a very original car in great condition, never been restored as far as I know which makes it one of the rarest of all suds let alone a S1 ti

not sure on the venues, but probably probably 2010 as I still had VJM...

Yes, MITCAR at Chatsworth - the Minari guys were out in force, as they were celebrating an anniversary (20 years?). That was a great day out, can't wait to do it again - perhaps 2016 will mark the return of the Green Machine!
