1983 'A' Alfasud Ti 105 Greencloverleaf

I'm offering for sale my much loved S3 Sud, due to a recent increase in family members and an ever growing collection of cars.. Including the completion of a series 1 Sud.. I have reluctantly made the decision to sell the S3 Ti 105 GC in the hope it'll go to someone who will use and enjoy to its full potential..

Brief details;
Purchased on 29/08/83 by original owner, acquired by myself on the 01/02/2009 from the same owner making it 1 former keeper.
Full body strip, new rear arches, 1 front wing rail, minor rear hatch repairs and a full respray in AR512 over a period of approx 3 years.. The floor, inner wings, jacking points, screen surround etc are all original.
The car has done a total of 65,467 miles and comes complete with the original history wallet and rare service book.. The front number plate is the original one and I have the rear original, the car don's all the rear window dealer stickers including the antifreeze additive in the front right of the windscreen, the car has only done minor mileage between mot's and has been rarely used since putting on the road in April 2012 with a mileage of 64,960!
I obtained a pair of refurbished Weber carbs for the car which need setting up properly to obtain a years mot in 2012 the last mot 'fail' was on exhaust emissions CO and HC content excessive. I am prepared to get the car properly set up and sell fully mot'd or sell as is for someone to prepare themselves.
The engine has not been stripped during the refurbishment, the plan was to get it back on the road and carry out any mechanical work afterwards.. The engine and box are fine however a mechanical overhaul of some engine components in time will be inevitable..
New headlamps were added during the refurb, along with repainted wheels, new Avon Zv tyres all round and timing belts and service etc..
This car is a stones throw away from being one of the best S3 105 GC's out there, to use or to show.. This car will only appreciate in time. My choice is dry store further for several years whilst the kids grow up or part company now on the basis I have an S1 Ti to enjoy and maintain..
I am seeking £5,000 for the car as is or £5,350 fully mot'd and set up
