				Anyone up for this again?
We seem to have a good night, good food and a good turn out .. at the Great North Inn, just off the A1.
Just wondered if we should do it again soon ..

I was thinking more towards the end .. we have a lot on in the next few weeks and Graeme is away more than home ..
Thursday 23rd or 30th ??
Doesn't matter about the dark nights .. fortunately pubs have lights and we have warm coats..

seeing as we are now into october, and haven't yet confirmed exactly which thursday evening we are going to meet up yet.....can i suggest the 23rd if nobody has any serious objections?
suits john with his travels as he won't be around the week after, and may allow me to blag a ride out with him in his 164 Q4

although with it being a LHD car i do get the jitters being a passenger in it

so, the 23rd ok everyone?
school half term is the week after too, if that helps

				ditto,
great night again, and thank you everyone for making the effort distance wise,
i know its not on everyones doorstep!

as said before, the pubs landlord and owner, James, is always more than happy for as many or as few folk as interested, so we can do these little gatherings as many times as we want.
Might i even make a suggestion that we sample some more of the chef's menu for a little gathering prior to Christmas?
Little Adam in the kitchen can certainly deliver some good honest Pub Grub, but i'm open to all ideas folks?
thanks again, and good to see you in better health Joe

				Thanks Shrew ..

its good to be in better health ...

Regarding the meet prior to Xmas .. Chris and Julian thought the same .. but to make it a family event which i think would be a great idea . The Great Northern Inn seems to be a good location. So why dont you speak with the landlord and see what prices and a menu for the evening would be, basically see if you can get a bit of discount. I'm northern .. i dont pay full price for anything!
