That’s the one that’s £18k on eBay isn’t it?
Coincidently, I was at the Jonny smith / sniff petrol, late brake show on tour in my sud a couple of weeks back and Sarah the office lady at Matthewsons came over and spoke to me about mine while her friend took some photos

It made £13,200 in the auction on Friday evening, - a bit low perhaps, or is everything else overpriced ?

A difficult one to value John.. extremely nice car but non original engine may have put some purists off? I’m happy with the result..
It was with a heavy heart that I decided to let the old girl go .. looking back at the efforts by Kev P etc.. and that I’ll never find (or be able to afford) another.. it was a difficult decision, however with the 145 2.0 twinspark (amongst other cars) on tap something had to go
I believe it’s gone to Leeds area so not far from York and hopeful it’s gone to a private individual who will show and improve the car, rather than into the trade ..
Let me know if it pops up anywhere
