Sprint Values these days.

Dear all, seeing the red Sprint currently on ebay for £15k got me thinking... my Sprint qv is of similar vintage , higher miles but has correct exhaust, interior trim, correct wheel centres etc.
Realistically for agreed value purposes how much are others insuring their cars for?
I had mine insured for 8..... but would say mine is as clean as the one on ebay.... RHD..... more original....
But perhaps 8 is now too low? As it seems I couldn't buy another for that figure if the worst was to happen.
Cheers
Peter

Footman James, my insurers allow me to increase my agreed values with no questions.
They simply charge an Admin fee.

Yeah it's more a question of what is reasonable/realistic... reality is I hope it never happens.... I'm surprised the ebay one is worth 15k.... but I don't watch prices...it may well be,hence my question.
Cheers
Pete

You can probably insure your Sprint for whatever value that you want to, - the problem may be in the event of a claim, the insurance company will want evidance that the car is worth what you claim it is. In that respect, it would be worth printing off that Ebay listing, and any others that come up too, should you need to claim, - unlikely though that may be......

My insurers ask for a valuation for an agreed value over £15k.
From an Owners Club official, or an independent specialist.
So, John, looks like another arrow to your bow!
