This is not only for AROC members so please share with as many owners as possible

Not going to do it sorry Gary. You are asking for personal data and I don’t see any GDPR policy other than Google’s and I’m sure as hell not letting them have my details. I suggest you find another way to process this information within the AROC preferably

Just be be clear this is not an initiative by me.
I is the AROC registrar David Faithful that added the message to the AROC members forum and Facebook page.
As the is a club initiative I’m sure they will have a GDPR policy in place
All I have done is shared the details here just case not all members of this forum are AROC members

I didn't think I was giving any more information than I would for an on line purchase..........or have I missed something?

What organisation have you given your details to? An online purchase with a merchant will have a GDPR policy in place and will be a recognised business or organisation unless you are being scammed! This doesn’t say and it doesn’t tell you how your data is secured or handled. The AROC has GDPR but here you are placing your details into google forms, if it was a form on the AROC website then you would be covered by the AROC policy, as it is now it’s google you are giving your details to. If you are happy with that then go-ahead, I’m not...also why are the fields ‘required’ there is no option to hold details back if you so which to

And whilst I’m at it on a mini rant(!) the AROC used to allow the recording of what cars you had in your membership details, I note that you can no longer enter those details. I’d be curious to know if that’s a GDPR requirement or just an oversight

Most of the world seems to have my postal and email addresses, so I'm not too fazed about giving them to The Alfasud Register.
