integrale, fogs or blanks

Dilemma, which I need opinion on.
Do I fit the front fog lights, which I have brand new OE ones that came with the car or fit the blanking plates that I painted up..
I like both options.
Will hardly ever (never?) need front fog lights and they can be sold on for good money, new ones currently selling for well over £100 each!
I like the blanks, which are painted to match, but every other integrale seems to have front fogs, guessing it was an option when new?
All wiring and switch is there so no drama to fit...

Kev I voted for Blanking plates . But I would keep the new OE lamps safely in the attic for potential future use. I seem to remember they were a bit vulnerable and saw loads of Deltas with broken ones. I still have a pair of Original SEV Marchal spot lamps for my old Sunbeam Lotus that I never fitted and they are quite rare now . I may use them on the Sud as they are Period correct for the early 80s.

Pretty much my thoughts Lou, be just my luck to get a stone through a lens!
I keep thinking that they'd pay for my steering wheel retrim...

Did the fogs come with covers so they don't get damaged?

Will you be driving it at night? As many new cars use the fogs as 'Steering Lights' - though not as sophisticated as the Citroen DS steering lights, If you keep the fogs they can come in handy giving more peripheral light if you are driving down poorly lit and marked country roads just to keep the verge illuminated - helps avoid those potholes too, as we know to our cost: the Mrs dented an alloy and trashed a tyre on the GT hitting a hidden pothole at night.
cheers

Will probably get some dark use, won't be a cosseted car.
Decision is to run with the blanks for the time being, at least for a while!
