I’ve been offered a car but not interested myself, because
- I have too many cars already
- It’s a 5 door


I hope someone will see this and want to restore it to its former throaty raspy Alfasud loveliness

The owner wants £1k for it

Red ‘sud 5 door. Originally a 1.3 (single carb I think) but now has twin carbs. No idea if engine was swapped.

- In storage since 1998
- Webasto vinyl sunroof
- V5 but no keys
- 98k miles
- iffy 1980s body kit.

This could be better than average due to long term storage, but needs a close look under the body kit. It’s still a ‘sud, after all. No rust visible on the pics, but body kit...

Looks complete.

Seller says the engine turns.

Never seen a kit like that...on a 5 door as well!

Very rare to have a kit like that and on a 4 door not a 5 door hatch

Oops! I thought I could see a panel gap up the side of the rear window.

For me I’d want to put it back to standard clean lines.

It’s one of the first series 3 cars with a boot not a hatch

Using up old body shells I guess.

Every day’s a school day.

I am surprised at how different it looks with that body kit on, perhaps cos the eye is being

drawn to the kit not the car.

Well then you should buy it, or at least have a look I have a different view but it would be a dull old world if we all agreed on everything.
