Hope you manage to produce this cloth, it'll probably save a lot of expired seats from being binned

Very nice to see passionate members making an effort to try to reproduce unobtainable materials. Some other members on this board already did a great job on some stickers and this story is also seeming to go in the right direction. I'm not in need of any of this TI QV fabric but enjoying the effort taken here. Keep it up!!

I'm going to get a 6 metre( by 1.5 metre wide) batch made very soon. I figured out you need 2 metres to do an entire retrim.
Both samples look good to me but I think the secret is if you use this material you need to retrim the entire set of seats. It would be impossible to make it so close that you could just retrim one seat or one section.
The printed colours and Fonts are perfect but the resolution of the text is not as sharp as the original and the material has a different feel. The original material is very soft and stretchy. The reproduction materials are far more substantial and heavy and don't feel as soft. They have a very similar feel to my 2010 model Mazda 2. A highly durable but still comfortable feel.

Great job Andrew. That is a very good match and probably a lot more durable than the original.
I am sure you will be getting enquiries from members.

If you imagine the wrong accent, that nearly said "Used to Grope Boys!"
and pay for it,
partly!

Update.
A have had a 6m production run made and sent 2m to an Alfasud owner and Motor trimmer who owns Doncaster motor trimmers. He will be the first to try it out and hopefully provide some feedback on the material.

Sounds great, it's been a development needed for a long time. Does the trimmer replace the useless foam too if needs be?

Ok, I definitely need this !!!
how has the reproduction gone ?
I need to redo the whole car.
Previous idiot put seat covers over the original Ti seats and ... glued the bloody covers on the seats !!!
I removed them, and the glue is stuck on the original material, making it un-salvageable
