Sprint alternator

The alternator on the '87 Sprint 1.5 QV needs replacing. The engine is the 95?bhp one.
Can the sudmeisters advise on new/old replacements?

at £48 for a new alternator, i'm both pleased and astonished!

That's £48.08 plus £48 alternator surcharge that is returned when you send the old unit to them.

Still, not a bad price at all considering your old alternator isn't worth a deal if not working anymore eh

cost me nearly that for an overhaul on my last sud, now Richards car.
decent price for a fresh unit

Just in case anyone's following this and intending to buy one of these......
They called today. The item listed is no longer available. They have sourced an identical replacement from Denmark for an extra £30. So, £79 plus a £48 refundable 'alternator surcharge'. Lead time is 14 days.

Yes, I'm happy with the arrangement and the guy I spoke to was very helpful.
btw Loving the Sprint Speciale stuff!
