Well, I'll be dipped, it was a Mako Shark. But as for all that chrome kit under the hood - well, there's no accounting for taste (or lack of it!)Sud 145 wrote:Thought that was a gimme.Spacenut wrote:All I can tell is that it is LHD (bulkhead is on the right of the image). I did get the Merc though

Viva an Orion we’re we’re too easy, is there some kind of catch
Jag mk vii or mk viii, with aftermarket drop Head

Re: The Puzzle Post!
They're not normally this easy - thought I'd give Kev a chance. Lol Innocenti is an early E version, owner said the front end handling is "interesting".
Re: The Puzzle Post!
The Jag is actually a V8 Daimler, the roof was cut off to save another car and this elderly gent rescued it from the crusher and fabricated this himself. If you look closely it's four door on the inside but two door from the outside. They never made a 4 door. The roof is made into a T-bar (laminated wood) and when raised retains the original silhouette. Old school skills. Thought you guys would appreciate the effort to save this car and make it a genuine one off

Mk2 Jag convertible ?

Re: The Puzzle Post!
The scooter aside from being a very different design has a perfect finish and then lots of inner cable left over sticking out from all the control cables.
A very odd thing to do after restoring to that very high standard.
Daimler is quite an impressive project to have completed. Impressed.

Thanks for the 2nd pic Keith been Googling all week and thought I had it at one point. That headlight is a shocking fit in the surround, is it meant to look like that?
Re: The Puzzle Post!
To be honest Tony, the light is set back and the photo is at a slight angle.
The side light and indicator is a Ford unit, and the car is British.

Re: The Puzzle Post!
The light and indicator look like they are from a Mk2 Cortina
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Well done Tim.
Early DBS6 . The V8 engine development was still having teething problems, so early cars had all the old DB6 running gear. Later models lost the rear pillar vent.
I believe you are correct with the Cortina light unit.

Wow ! I thought Tony's were getting hard
Silver car looks a bit 70's French, is that wheel rim really screwed to the wheel.
Last one , an old Bentley?
