I am pretty much done 'over there' now….

As Steffen said it was more or less Brit01, Lauren, me and Lonewolf who were hanging in as I really needed some questions answered when the gearbox was on the garage floor etc

John did a link to here - which survived for a while until it got taken down.

I probably have a couple or 3 posts left to do and that will be my lot. Hopefully the other 3 above will join in shortly as they are all quite knowledgeable, particularly Lonewolf on electrical / electronic stuff.

After all that went on in the summer looking to build to a big finish - going to say exactly what I think of the management 'style' over there and hopefully get myself banned so thoroughly that my ban will be forever. Not just in this life, but in the next and the one after that. Johnboy started a new thread about his post being taken down (seems fairly reminiscent ) going to play that one a little and then go for the big send off…….

I have pmed Lauren so she knows about this place;-) got to say I'm done with AO .but i don't want to drag this forum down because those muppets can't take a bit of competition

Just had a pm from admin helper thread closed

the intent on setting up this forum by shrewbedoo and myself was never to be a direct challenge to AO, they cover far too many differing lounges for us to even want to compete, but we just wanted to get the old feeling back.....
shrew and myself always agreed, and argued until blue in the face with AO staff, that it's the members who make a forum. NOT the staff.
so this little corner of the world was talked about and the hard work started, but we were determined that it would happen and not fall by the wayside as other great ideas can.

if you guys want to fall out with AO then who am I to say don't, but we will be here for as long as we are able to be so there's no harm in belonging to both. we don't own you, exclusively or otherwise, but as far as getting "the feeling" that we aimed for i can say on mine and shrews' behalf.....
