As a footnote there are a fair few Sprint parts left over (- including a complete 1500 boxer engine) and are posted on the "For Sale" section

I have also found a pair of rear strut tower inner wing sections which would be very useful repair sections - again on the Bay now.

As a final note to this thread I have been e mailed to be told that the Sprint will be broken for spares (by a well known On-line Alfasud spares company) as the bodyshell is uneconomic to repair by a garage. :cry:

I too thought it was good - but the key phrase is "uneconomic to repair by a garage" we spend many hours of our own time for the love of the cars - but if we have to buy that time at garage rates..............

always the issue phil, isn't it.
2 or 3 days welding (which as we know wouldn't begin to scratch the surface of rusty suds/sprints) at £40+ per hour and you soon get a £1k bill in labour alone.
probably why us fools will always keep busy :D
