Just waiting for the date to be confirmed as quite often this event clashes with summer holidays etc. but I really hope that it will not clash this year as it was a cracking show last year and will be even better this year with lots of Suds there !!
Would be nice to have the TIx finished by then but I doubt it - will bring the sprint veloce otherwise

it was sunday the 17th last year mate, 2014
date is as yet to be confirmed but i'd put money on it being that weekend. very much doubt it will be the bank holiday weekend
they usually have to wait for all the other events to confirm their dates so they don't clash.
i'd expect the date & venue to be announced in feb.

) sadly the last Mitcar I attended was at Chatsworth House about 15 years ago in my old sud sprint!!!!

His cars are coming on well.
He's a married man now so progress probably a bit slower than it was!

ok guys, just 6 weeks to go, doesn't time fly when you think you've got loads!
i'm as guilty of that as anyone, my own car isn't ready yet. it will be though.
one conversation i had this afternoon with a forum member though got me thinking (won't mention any names so as not to cause any embarassment), the whole event isn't just planned for the shiny new looking cars.
the aim is to get as many suds together in one place so even if you have a sud that you think may look a bit too scruffy to bring then think again, we want suds of all stages of repair to attend. if it drives and is legal to do so i for one would love to see it there. everyone knows i'm a sucker for cars that look like they've rolled their last dice, if any of you guys have done enough to your car to keep it mobile then you well deserve a place in the line up
all will be most welcome.

Met the owner of this Sud on Wednesday and hopefully he will be joining us soon.
Also told him about MITCAR and he was keen to come.
Fingers crossed.
Ed McDonald bought this Sprint over from France after a five year lay up. Just checked the tyre pressures, fluids and wagons roll.

Really hope I can make this, still waiting for a new windscreen to arrive. My Sud hasn't been on the road since 2001 so still a lot to put right..it'll be a close one!
