Most IT people have a narrow band of knowledge so a lot of the time they are bull-shitting, but.....they have acquired enough knowledge to know where to look for the solution and how to apply it. I in this instance I just haven't found out WHICH idiot mistake I made
Are mechanics the same?

Certainly can be Steve.
Very similar across many industries, but what i find a little bemusing at times, especially with the "apps" on the scene, is just so many different hammers to crack the same nut.
Its little wonder sometimes that poor choices or mistakes are made, we can't know them all eh?

what about having the poster / member info in the left, rather than right ... not sure if its me .. but I find it disjointed looking to the right to see who has posted. On the phone its not an issue .. but with my lappy on , it drives me nuts, eyes naturally read from left to right ... well they do in this country ...
I'll be pleased to here what others think ..

having stupid avatars in the way annoys me, they are best off on the right where they are, just my opinion.

How things are elsewhere is nothing to do with my suggestion .. on every forum I use and have used the members info is on the left , for the reason I mentioned ...
Perhaps its a woman thing eh ... who knows ...
