My dad bought one of these in '75 after a succession of boring Morris and Vauxhall boxes. He gave us no warning it was coming and when he parked it up at home I was COMPLETELY STUNNED!! I couldn't have been more surprised if Martians had landed.
So......I would buy it in a heartbeat!
God knows what they cost now.
Any idea, Kev?

it's far better than any of the british stuff of the 70's so must have seemed like something from the future....i was 7 in '75 and my dad used to have datsun bluebirds and the like, very exotic.
the owner hardly ever uses it, think it's only had a small number of owners too, he did about 300 miles in it since the last mot.......
reckon he said he'd had it valued at about £4k???
but may have heard that wrong.

Small world, my mum had one.
I think the gt twin cams are closer to 10k, a colleague has just sold a gt restoration project for 4.5k.....and it needed plenty if work.
I prefer the shape above to the mustang imitation version.

Me too. My dad had the ST2000 Mustang imitation as well. Nowhere near as good as the 1600 and neither main dealer or back street expert could not keep it in tune. If I had 4k I would buy that one and change the colour to match my dad's one.
