How's your day going . Spot the 33
Well redid the rear brake set again today. Some how I'd completely cocked up the trailing arms so even the stock wheels rubbed. I worked out there were back to front plus needed flipping. Now everything fits. Still can't believe I that
Tomorrow fit a bit of brake line on the beam. I'm going to use kunifer . As you guys can see I'm limited to space . But will make some room to work on the back end .then crack on with what ever I need to do .
This virus does have some pluses I suppose

That 205 is the bain of my life . Joys of a classic car that needed more work than I thought. Only saving grace is it's a limited edition. Only 300 1.9's made .

Just a little update
To things going.
Now have some room . Next plan is to paint the boot area first and maybe the floor .but minimising overspray. Then I can pop rivet in a piece of ally. This all be done later next week. as I've got a little paint job to do for a client and have the paint in stock .wheels and calipers .so helps the bank balance. So I'm going to repaint the 33's calipers again too .
Now chilling with an ale in hand .
Cheers guys

This week I haven't achieved much .as I was finally working on clients mx5 , Wheels and calipers. But as I was spraying his. I decided to repaint mine again. There in red chill .which is a mini colour. I was going to use a ford red .but I feared if I'd put that on my Alfa calipers .they may burst into flames

Four coats later .

Hi adie
Yes I will pop rivet in a piece of ally . Bit of weight saving. Then the swirl tank will sit on that .

Is it gonna be a Road car or trackday?
When I put a swirl pot in mine I struggled to pull the fuel from the tank. I ended up having 2 pumps. One to get the fuel from the tank into the swirl pot and the other to run the injector line from the swirl pot.

We Also run a swirl pot . We have Two systems a Low pressure side and a High pressure side. A facet red top mounted at the back pulls from the tank to the swirl pot With an excess return back to the tank. This system never pressures up as it just a circulatory system To keep the swirl pot Full. Then a high pressure Injection pump Mounted at the front pulls from the swirl pot to feed The high pressure to the injector rail and back to the swirl pot via an adjustable regulator . This keeps the High pressure and low pressure systems separate.

Morning guys
I'm trying to make it a bit of a show car on the outside to show my bodywork skills and promote my business when I go to local classic car shows. There's a big classic seen in my area
It will be more of toy .but will definitely go out to spa at some point in the future and brands hatch too as quite close to me .
With the swirl pot .Lou is right you need two pumps low and hight

Evening peeps
A little progress today. Painted the floor and boot . Not the greatest. But it's inside . Tomorrow I'll pop rivet the ally boot floor in .then start fitting the swirl pot and pumps in .
And start the brake lines .
It's quite a cool black . But won't really be seen on the inside. The outside will be a different black

Yes it is Keith.
There are some cool blacks out there . This was from a previous job. I'm thinking of a Jag colour. Black cherry. It's got a red fleck in it. But that's a miles off yet .

I like the black with red fleck, bmw do one but I can’t remember what it’s called, and Mazda do a black cherry or similar that someone posted on here once.
