Clock

Hi everyone, when I first got the car, the clock was erratic working some days then not others, then it packed up altogether, just plugged a new one in .... it worked for 3o seconds then dead? There is power getting to it on the multi meter, anyone know where the earth is for it? None of the fuses have gone either? Any ideas?

Is it a Sud you have? I'd try looking at the connector behind the rev counter...I'd disconnect it and then reconnect it so as to clean the contacts and see if that helps
