Thanks Tim Great bit of nostalgia thanks for posting. I remember the #75 Sud well. I believe it would be circa 1975 that car was one of the first Suds to be prepared. Dad regularly came home in it even when fully caged and stripped out as regs allowed. And I was often dropped off at school in it complete with side exit exhaust . There were two cars registered consecutively JEN 99P & JEN 100P both remained road legal and even raced with number plates. The red sud in the background of one of the other photos is the same car albeit a couple of years later Im pretty sure it was 99P that got the big front spoiler. Dad made the mould himself

Where would the track be that "75" was taken?
Imagine getting dropped off at school in a stripped out race car.

Hi Keith. That photo was on the entry to copse at silverstone it probably the 1975/6 international tourist trophy event I say that because we’re could remove the bumpers and run bigger wheels than the regular touring car championship. I was at that event but only been about 10/11 yo but that didn’t stop me helping out. On the subject of the school run.other cars used for the school duties were a genuine racing 427 AC Cobra and a Lamborghini Miura. For some reason I was quite popular

I did wonder if it was Silverstone with the old cross over bridge. Safety fencing has come a long way.

The best I remember was an old school mate's Dad picking us up once from school in a Jensen Interceptor.
A Miura is a personal fav of mine. Had the chance to work on four in my job. Two were complete repaints for the same owner.

Last few, promise……my dad found this in his loft, I completed it by sending off for the last few sticker needed.

Who remembers Figurine Panini sticker books ? Clearly a ‘sign’ of things to come that I stuck an Alfa badge over the O for Auto on the front cover…………..or it was simply because it was round !

Fantastic bit of nostalgia there Tim, hadn't heard of the Press on Regardless rally for years, USA is pretty much off the radar nowadays for the WRC, unless you count Mexico of course!
