My Work In Progress P4

Post by FatGimp »

Hi Guys,

I picked this P4 up at the end of last year, It solid, MOT'd and very useable, And an absolute joy to drive, I have had a fair few 33's over the years and this one by far drives the best and gives more smiles per miles!

Decided that I am going to use it and enjoy whilst slowly getting her back to former glory, and eventually get around to sorting out a few little body work niggles and remove those hideous stuck on bonnet vents!

Mechanically and the interior are absolutely perfect.

No doubt I will be asking for some valuable knowledge in the very near future on here!

When I get a bit of free time in daylight, I have these fresh from being refurbished to go on.

These alloys where in an absolute mess when I got them, but they have been brought back to an amazing standard by Shrew.

Just wish I had a before and after pic!

Should look nice on a white car :D

Nice car.

I've seen it before and those bonnet vents are pretty hideous IIRC. I guess they're just stuck on with no holes in the bonnet to fill?

Sorry, been a bit busy with work and not updated this for a while

Bonnet vents are thankfully only stuck on, God knows why anyone would though, also i have removed the rather nasty stuck Imola door strips today.

Still not got the speed lines on….shame to get them dirty they are that nice - top job Shrew!

Picture of the horrible vents!

Hey Up Shrew,

No worries, At least found the cause of the problem - absolutey no idea at the mo how to fix it! but at least i should have more time now work has slowed down and we have lighter nights now for a good few months.

Well yeah, I may as well use the imola alloys they are really nice, shame i sold the tyres - you got any 195 50 15's in your stock pile ?
